What I offer

People seek therapy for many different reasons. Some arrive with a clear difficulty in mind; others feel dissatisfied, stuck, or troubled by patterns in their lives that they do not fully understand.

I offer a confidential and non-judgemental space in which to speak freely. My work is informed by psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy, approaches that are interested in the unconscious aspects of experience: the meanings behind symptoms, recurring patterns in relationships, dreams and fantasies, and the ways we can find ourselves repeating what we consciously wish to avoid.

Therapy is not about advice or quick solutions. Rather, it provides an opportunity to explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences in greater depth, and to develop a different relationship to difficulties that may have felt fixed or overwhelming.

I welcome people with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, questions of sexuality and identity, and experiences such as hearing voices or distressing thoughts and beliefs.

Sessions take place weekly, with the possibility of more frequent meetings for those who wish to engage in a deeper and longer-term therapeutic process.

Fees are £63 per session.
